Mission
The mission of KIPP Academy Lynn is to create an environment where the students of Lynn, MA will develop the academic skills, intellectual habits, and character traits necessary to maximize their potential in high school, four-year colleges and universities, and the world beyond.
Mottos
Work Hard, Be Nice. There are no shortcuts.
If there is a problem, we look for a solution.
If there is a better way, we find it.
If a teammate needs help, we give.
If we need help, we ask.
Students learn to be active participants in the classroom by following the SLANT motto:
Sit up straight
Listen
Ask and Answer questions
Nod your head if you understand
Track the speaker (i.e. make eye contact), whether that speaker is a fellow student or a teacher
